Message from the Assistant Vice President for Student Engagement & Dean of Students

Welcome to Dixie State University! I realize that students come to our campus from many different places, with different backgrounds, different experiences, and with a variety of needs – so every effort is made to provide the most comprehensive resources possible for a student’s personal success. It takes a team of creative and dedicated individuals to make Dixie State an invigorating and inspiring place to learn and grow. I love working at DSU — and helping our students succeed!

As your Dean of Students, I work to create engagement opportunities, provide support and advocacy on your behalf, assist with the resolving of problems, and provide information about campus resources and programs that are available to help you succeed in college. Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with various services and programs associated with my office — and learn more about what you can do to become engaged and involved at Dixie State. I maintain an “open door policy” and you are always welcome to stop by my office for assistance with personal challenges, or to say hello and share your ideas of how we might improve your Trailblazer experience!

I invite you to come visit me in the Gardner Center, or call and email me directly with questions. Please accept my best wishes for an enjoyable, productive, and highly successful school year, and once again… welcome to Dixie State!
